Summer’s Here!
I didn’t realize how long it had been since I last wrote a post. Looking at the date of my last one reminds me that it was a very busy second half of the semester. Easter, with lots of family activities and birthday celebrations, was early this year. Right after that my husband and I came down with a nasty flu that had us scrambling for several weeks. Trying to teach with laryngitis is never any fun! Then I was into the end of the semester with its requisite preparations, recitals, juries, and grades. Whew!!!
Through it all, though, I continued crafting and, boy, did I get a lot of WIP’s done. Here’s a sample:

Plus, we visited a couple of festivals…
And, a new one in the Lehigh Valley, the Steel City Fiber Festival…
…where I found this gorgeous yarn from Groovy Hues Fibers.
Now, the summer break stretches before me. I know it won’t last long but I’m going to make the most of every minute!
