A blog hop full of crochet home decor just for you
A blog hop full of crochet home decor to help you spruce up your space.
It’s finally January and (hopefully) all of the holiday gifts are made and given. Confession: I still have a blanket to finish!
January is the month dubbed “Crochet for Me”. It’s the time right after the holidays when you’ve spent so much time crocheting for everyone else. Now it’s time to focus on yourself.
One of the best things you can do to take care of yourself is to create a space where you can relax and be yourself. The act of crocheting itself – at least when you’re not under a deadline stress event like the holidays – is a soothing, mindful activity. Why not crochet home decor that brightens and brings comfort to your entire home or to your favorite space?
The Spruce Up Your Space blog hop was created just for you and your home, providing you with crochet home decor designs that will bring comfort and style to any room in your home.
In this blog hop you’ll find crochet home decor to surround yourself with handmade comfort. You’ll love making the designs as well as using them once they’re finished.
What is a blog hop?
A blog hop is a great way to introduce yourself to top crochet designers you may not know. The blog hop has a specific design topic – in this case crochet home decor – and each designer chooses a design to share with you that fits the topic.
In this type of blog hop, the daily featured designer makes her pattern PDF available for 24 hrs as a free download. If you follow every day, you can fill your crochet pattern library with beautiful patterns to make now or save for later.
Included in this blog hop may be some designers you’ve never met. So much talent abounds in crochet design. I’m excited to share these 22 crochet designs with you over the course of 3 weeks.

Today’s pattern, January 20th,the rustic home banner, when I get to the download on the designers blog page and I click the button it wants me to make a Microsoft account to get the pattern. I don’t want to do that. Is it available as a pdf download?? Thanks
Stephanie,
You shouldn’t have to create an account to download the PDF. When I did it myself, clicking on the button downloaded the pattern directly to my computer. Be sure to check – it may already be in your downloads folder.
Best,
Debbie
For today’s pattern. It is not free with the coupon code WOVEN23. It only takes $2.00 off is that correct.
The coupon code for Jan 21st works for both the single blanket and the blanket bundle. It looks like you used the code on the bundle.
Look at it again and be sure you’re clicking on the button for just the blanket.

Please, will you tell me how to find out about these “blog hops?” I just barely found this one today and it’s already over. How can I find out about them before they happen? Every one of them that I’ve participated in, have been ones that I’ve just stumbled across. It would be so nice to know about them in advance to be able to take advance of all that they have to offer.
Thanks, Ymana Johnson
Ymana,
I know it’s frustrating to miss out on these blog hops.
They are generally announced and advertised on Instagram and Facebook on the accounts of the designers who are hosting them and the designers who are participated. There really isn’t one place where they are all advertised.
I would suggest following some of your favorite designers, subscribing to their newsletters, and searching Instagram with the hashtag “bloghop”.
Best,
Debbie
