Winter Wonderland Coasters | Free crochet coaster pattern
Bring the ‘snow’ indoors without the cold (brrrr…) and protect your furniture at the same time with this fun free crochet coaster pattern.
The Winter Wonderland Coaster free crochet pattern includes the round version of the coaster, highly adaptable to any need you may have.
Coasters are like pencils, reading glasses and the like – you’re always losing them and no one ever has enough. Because they’re so quick and easy to make, you can replace them in the blink of an eye.
Grab some worsted weight yarn from your stash and make one for every surface in the house. These coasters also make wonderful housewarming gifts and stocking stuffers.
Design
This crochet coaster pattern features 2 shapes to mix and match. The round coaster (the instructions are included below) is worked in continuous rounds without joining until the very end. The square coaster is a version of a solid granny square with front post construction at each side’s midpoint for added surface texture.
The coasters are easy to alter. Simply work the number of rounds for the size you desire.
Have some faux fur yarn in your stash? Add a round of single crochet with the fur yarn to give your new coasters a touch of winter.

I am starting my crochet/knitting journey to make it a full time endeavor. I am still in the planning stages and making progress each month. I need to make a big sign to note off of the designers that I have used to make all of my items that I sale as a thank you!
