Triple spoke face scrubbie free pattern

The fourth and final pattern in this series is the Triple Spoke face scrubbie. It gets its name from the spokes formed by the front post treble crochets worked in the third round of four. Read on for all the details.

Crochet face scrubbies are quick and easy to make. They serve the purpose of replacing washcloths and cotton rounds for an eco-friendly solution to your skin care routine.

There’s no learning curve to substituting scrubbies for your usual washcloth. Simply get them wet, add your favorite cleanser and wash your face. To launder your scrubbies, toss them in a mesh laundry bag or lingerie bag and run them through the wash as normal. I would recommend air drying your scrubbies – they are handmade after all!

Special Stitches

Note: Instead of working the dc or tr in the loops at the top of the st, the dc or tr is worked around the post of the indicated st. The steps for making the dc/tr are the same, only the location of the sts is different.

Front post double crochet (FPdc): YO, insert hook around post of indicated st from front to back to front, YO, pull loop back through from around post (3 loops on hook), (YO, draw through 2 loops) twice.

  1. The ‘Ch 3’ at the beginning of a rnd counts as a dc.
